... and so it begins

Welcome! I created this blog in hopes that it will motivate me to get my butt into gear about getting serious about my photography. My goal is to put AT LEAST one photo post up a week. Along with each photo I blog about I plan to write a Haiku to go along with it. For those who are unfamiliar of what a Haiku is, it's a form of Japanese poetry consisting of 17 syllables in 3 phrases of 5,7,and 5 respectively. I chose to go with a Haiku to accompany my photos because we have used this form of poetry in my family and it holds special meaning to me. I'm hoping this blog will inspire me to get out there and shoot! Let the photo journey begin!
